"Combine low light and low water and a good top water bite results. Over the sparse grass and along grass edges we do well with poppers and in the thicker grasses we find that a grass frog works well. Mann’s Baby 1-Minus and Chatter Baits fished around and through grass clumps will draw strikes from solid bass but our most productive bait continues to be a Secret Weapon side arm spinner bait in chartreuse/white that bass and snakeheads find appealing. During the low end of the tide a smartly fished blue glitter ring worm or a blue fleck Bakubaits geomite is good for numbers of bass around wood and creek ledges as well as marsh drainages.
